Alumni Tour and BBQ – Loon Lake
An afternoon in the forest with friends, students and food
Whether you’ve visited Loon Lake recently or haven’t been for years, you don’t want to miss this year’s get together. We will meet at the gates to the Malcolm Knapp Research Forest and begin the afternoon with a bus tour of the forest and stop off at different field school sites where current Forestry students will share what they are learning. We will then head up to the Loon Lake camp in our own vehicles for a reception hosted by Dean John Innes. The field school students will join us for refreshements and mingling and then we will have an early dinner in the dining hall.
We’d love to have you join us for the whole afternoon, but if you can only attend the tour or reception and dinner, that is okay too! Parts of the afternoon will be outside so please dress appropriately.
