Welcome Notes from Alumni

Do you remember what it was like on your first day of class at UBC? Well, this school year will be starting differently than any of us could have expected. Instead of our students joining us on campus at the Forest Sciences Centre, they will be logging in to our digital classes. Since we won’t be able to welcome them in person we want to do our best to make them feel like part of our community. We are reaching out to our alumni to ask that you take a moment to welcome our new students to the Faculty of Forestry family.

Feel free to write whatever you would like, but please keep the tone light and friendly. Share your favorite school memories, study tips and of course, words of encouragement. Our goal is to have over 400 cards filled out so that each new student can get a special welcome message.

What do I need to do?

Simply fill out the form below with your message, you can fill out as many as you like…

What will we do?

We will print postcards with your message(s) and mail them to our new students.

(Your name and degree information will be included, your contact information will not).
