There’s evidence suggesting that people who live close to green spaces live happier and healthier lives. But what are the specific effects that forests and nature have on our physical and mental health? Are there alternative therapies that involve the environment? Join us as a panel of experts explore the links between health, happiness and nature and discuss the importance of preserving our forests and green spaces.

Join us for an afternoon in the woods at the Malcolm Knapp Research Forest in Maple Ridge to hear what students have learned at spring camp and get a sneak peak of the DEMO 2016 venue.
Following the tour, we will drive to the Loon Lake Camp for a reception hosted by Dean John Innes and the opportunity to match wits and mingle with students and fellow guests. We will finish the evening with a BBQ dinner in the new Bentley Family Dining Hall.
