On Friday, August 29th, 2014, alumni and guests gathered at the Best Western in Nelson, BC to listen to 20 students from the Forestry Masters of Sustainable Forestry program present their ideas around the issues of forestry in the Nelson area. Each presentation was followed by a dialogue on the issue with the audience.
Afterwards students, alumni and guests mingled and discussed their experiences, both in Nelson and in forestry, at an alumni social at the Touchstones Nelson Museum of Art and History.
